Train Robbery...Seeking re-enactors for the program. We prefer locals to participate. Must be teams of 2 and able to attend meetings and several practice sessions. Contact Bill at 575-756-1085.
Karen Brown Training clinic....The object will be a "problem solving" clinic for horse and rider. The max participants are 12 horse/riders. Karen is a published author and expert trainer. Her list of clients is very large and she maintains an almost year-long waiting list. She works with an emphasis on "natural horsemanship" techniques. This clinic is an excellent opportunity for even the most experienced rider, allowing them to enhance their already accomplished abilities, down to the beginning rider looking to improve their relationship with their "best friend". Trainers are encouraged to attend. Monitoring is "Free"!!! Parelli, Hunt and Dorrance followers will appreciate Karens' style and methods. This is an extraordinary value. Most clinics of this type, with a trainer of Ms. Browns' caliber would cost upwards of $2000 for the two full day sessions.
Newly added Event "The Stick Horse Extreme Cowboy Race", 2 groups of kids 6 and under, and 7-10. Held on Saturday, July 26th.
3 tentative performances of a Jicarilla Native Dance Troupe...(tentative as of tonight), Friday and Saturday.
We will also have vendors for the event. If you wish to be a vendor for the event please contact us at 575-756-1085.
There will also be a dutch oven cooking and a horse packing demonstration on Saturday by Leon Harms.
